STERLING, Va. (WUSA) -- If you won $1 million, wouldn't it be hard to keep quiet about it? Florante Jimeno hasn't told his three kids yet.
Jimeno says his wife knows, but not their 11-year-old, 10-year-old, nor their two and a half year old.
"After tonight, if it's already on the internet, I'm going to open and say look who's in there," Jimeno said.
He's made the internet. His picture is on the Lottery's website. He says this is his American Dream, after coming here from the Philippines in 1988.
"I feel lucky and I thank God for giving me this," he said.
He bought the Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle ticket in November, won after the New Year, and now he's got the cash. He's taking home more than $700,000. He says he's not going to blow it.
"I have to invest, and pay off my home," he said.
He also says his wife can finally quit one of her two jobs.
Jimeno bought his New Year's Millionaire Raffle ticket at a 7-11 in Sterling. There were two other winners, including one from Alexandria that has not yet been claimed.
