Rainbow Station at Haymarket Hosting Coat Drive

The following was sent to us by Amy Bannon of Fran PR:

The Rainbow Station at Haymarket is a school for children aged 0-14, which offers extended day nursery school, preschool and Kindergarten programming as well as before- and after-school care and summer camps. The campus also has an on-site infirmary attended by a pediatric nurse to provide emergency back-up care for mildly ill children.  "The Get Well Place" with its specialized reverse ventilation system is one of only 300 facilities estimated to provide this service in nation.

LINK is an all-volunteer, interdenominational Christian relief organization founded in 1972 to meet basic human needs of individuals and families in the Herndon and Sterling communities.

For the second year in a row, Rainbow Station at Haymarket is collecting new and gently used coats, gloves, hats and scarves for the LINK coat drive. Anyone interested in donating winter clothes should drop them off at the school between now and November 19.

Rainbow Station at Haymarket began collecting donated winter clothes earlier this week and will continue to collect them through November 19. The donated items will be distributed by Rainbow Station staff on November 20.

New and gently used coats, gloves, hats and scarves should be dropped off at Rainbow Station at Haymarket located at 6800 Piedmont Center Plaza in Gainesville.
